SPIDER!!!

So last night, I was about to go to sleep. I was sitting up in bed, reading a book, as I usually do shortly before bed. I was also being occasionally poked by my cat, Shy, who really needs attention late at night for some reason.

When all of a sudden, a goddamn evil spider crawled over my hair and pillow!!

I immediately leaped into action. By which I mean I freaked out and started shaking out my pillows and smacking them with my book.

Unfortunately, all I succeeded in doing was freaking myself out more, and confusing the cat.

She thought we were playing a game. Eventually, she tired of me and went off to sleep with my sister. But I couldn't sleep. I went downstairs and watched some stupid mindless female-oriented TV and when I was too tired to do that anymore, I went back up to nervously sit in bed and continually pat my hair down in case the spider spontaneous reappeared on my head. I probably would've slept better with a full-body space suit or DEP protective suit.

But those are hard to come by at midnight. *sigh* So I'm an exhausted mess this morning.

And I still feel like I have spideys in my hair. :(
