I'm Baaaaaaack...

So it's been a busy couple months here in Embeeland (sounds weird... never mind). I moved back to Connecticut and have been looking for work. Actually, it was more like I sat back and let work find me, and it happened. Crazy, huh? I ended up doing some weird stuff, put a lot of miles on my car, did a bunch of interviews... and now I have one retail job, one office job that starts soon, and I may possibly be in the running for a huge high-pressure corporate job. I'm thinking of bowing out of that last one. Kinda freaks me out, plus there's a lengthy commute involved, and like... lots of people to meet. Ugh.

I've been working on a lot of creative things, too. I've crocheted a ton of stuff, some of which I may post on here. Lots of friends having babies, so there's little sweaters and booties to make, and then I started making myself a shirt with sparkly Lion Brand Vanna's Glamour in copper. No pattern, just kinda thinking about other things I've made and praying for a good outcome. Hah. It's working so far, nearly done. I'll need to line it, and once it's ready to show off, I shall definitely do that.

I've also been writing some Star Trek stuff. That'll eventually make it over to the dark side of this site. I've had a lot of good ideas for characters and AUs and things like that, but not a lot of plot ideas, so it's tough pulling things together into something people can read. Working on that some more, though, and hopefully I'll keep improving.

So the real reason I'm back on the site is, I'm going to try doing some more drawing. I'm not sure it's going to be Embee comics, for all I know I'll start drawing starships, but I've been feeling the craving for that kind of outlet. We'll see what happens. But I definitely want to make this site a priority in my life. Because I'm awesome and interesting and funny and stuff, and y'all need more of ME! :)
